Household Livelihood Support Impact Assessment

The impact assessment of Household Livelihood Assistance (HLA) is designed around two objectives for learning and informing programming for the future:

  1. To ascertain the extent to which households have recovered from the 2013 typhoon in terms of livelihood and income security; and
  2. To give insight on the impact and effectiveness of HLA designed to support early livelihood recovery

The livelihood Quality of Life/ Satisfaction survey instrument is designed to collect information on the selected beneficiary level of satisfaction with the assistance received, the extent of their individual recovery and other related outstanding needs. Surveys conducted via mobile data collection using formhub and Open Data Kit (ODK). Please submit questions or feedback by email.

These results are from an initial, first round survey conducted from December 2014 through February 2015. The respondents are a randomly selected sample of beneficiaries. A followup, second round survey with the same respondents began in March 2015 and is ongoing.
